I love the TTC

I spent yesterday riding the TTC — for a mere $10, I got a full day pass that allowed me to go on the buses, the trains and, my favourite — the streetcars. Public transit in Toronto is so much better than in BC, where I have spent so many hours waiting and waiting for the Number 7 bus, that I often resort to calling a taxi…and can feel my fingernails growing while I stand at the bus shelter.
I love Queen Street West — but I didn’t buy anything. That is because I can’t lift my suitcase — I did go to Winners and purchase a smaller piece of luggage, and plan to spend this morning sorting through my stuff and lightening the load.
I leave for New York in a few hours and from there, on to Iceland.
More trip notes to come.

My God, did you actually say something positive about Toronto? I’m going to frame it.
