After my essay was accepted, I was thrilled to receive a letter from John E. Wade II (Author, Investor, Philanthropist), thanking me for my contribution and asking me to spread the word. (My essay is on the economist and humanist, Dr. Muhammad Yunus and microcredit.
As writers we all get our fair share of rejection letters — if we don’t we are not sending out enough work. Perhaps it is because of this that I find it so thrilling when my work is accepted. John Wade is clearly a man who cares about the world he lives in, and has decided to do everything he can to make a difference. I am honoured to be a small part of his project.
